We are excited to announce a new opportunity to work with one of our esteemed partners as a Director of Rooms in the Maldives. Our client is an ultra luxury resort, recognised globally as a hospitality leader.

As a Director of Rooms, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' guest rooms are of the highest standard and that the stay of each guest exceeds their expectations.

• Lead and manage a team of 4 seniors managers across housekeeping, guest service and front office.
• Develop and implement service standards for the guest rooms and common areas of the hotel.
• Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement improvements as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all hotel standards and procedures.
• Develop and maintain relationships with guests to ensure repeat business and positive online reviews.
• Meet financial targets through efficient budget management and revenue optimisation.
• Recruit and train staff, ensuring they are equipped with the tools and knowledge required to exceed guest expectations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in hotel management, with at least 2 years in a Director of Rooms role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing budgets and forecasting financial performance.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and inventory management.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong understanding of current industry standards and trends.
