We have an exclusive opportunity as Director of Sales working with a luxury resort in the Maldives. Reporting to the Commercial Director, this role will be responsible for driving the sales strategy for the company and managing a team of sales professionals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives
- Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals, setting individual targets and ensuring they are met
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients in the hospitality industry, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion
- Attend industry events and conferences to generate new business leads and promote the company's services
- Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs and requirements
- Collaborate with the recruitment team to ensure a seamless delivery of services to clients, providing support and guidance when necessary
- Utilize data and analytics to track performance and make strategic decisions that drive growth
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality or related field
- 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with senior level clients
- Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions
- A passion for hospitality and the desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
