Job Description

We are thrilled to be recruiting for a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverage Manager for a luxury resort in the Maldives. As Food and Beverage Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and high-quality service delivery.


Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the food and beverage department, including but not limited to staffing, food and beverage cost control, budgeting, inventory management, and menu development.
  • Lead and motivate a team of food and beverage professionals, ensuring their training, development, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the executive chef and culinary team to develop innovative and enticing menu offerings, taking into consideration guest preferences and market trends.
  • Maintain and enforce the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the food and beverage areas, in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Foster and maintain exceptional guest relations, ensuring prompt and efficient service delivery and handling any guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Drive revenue generation through effective sales and promotional strategies, analyzing market trends, and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and execute effective cost control measures, monitoring expenses, and implementing strategies for maximizing profitability.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar food and beverage management role within the hospitality industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including staffing, budgeting, cost control, menu development, and inventory management.
  • Proven track record in leading and motivating a team, with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and drive revenue growth.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards in food and beverage service.
  • Familiarity with relevant safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring compliance throughout the food and beverage areas.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
