We are thrilled to be recruiting for an Assistant Director of Food amp; Beverage for an ultra-luxury resort in the Maldives. The ideal candidate must have strong experience of working in a 5*/ luxury hotel or resort.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Food amp; Beverage in managing all aspects of the food and beverage operations within the luxury hotel, resort, and restaurant portfolio.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menus, ensuring they align with the brand standards and meet guests' expectations.
- Oversee the establishment and implementation of standard operating procedures for food and beverage service, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Manage the recruitment, training, and development of personnel within the food and beverage department, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.
- Monitor financial performance metrics and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability of the food and beverage outlets.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective procurement of high-quality products.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, cost controls, and inventory management.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, setting high standards for excellence.
- Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and Pamp;L management.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry.
