We are thrilled to be working with a luxury resort in the Maldives who are seeking a Commercial Director for the property. The role will be based on property with scope for travel.
As the Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and implementing the property's overall commercial strategy and driving business growth. You will be responsible for overseeing sales, marketing, and business development activities, while identifying new opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's commercial strategy and plans to achieve business objectives
- Lead and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and collaborations
- Maintain and nurture relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and repeat business
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of industry developments and make informed business decisions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to business operations
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the commercial team, providing guidance and support as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar senior leadership role within the luxury hospitality industry
- Proven track record in driving business growth and meeting commercial targets
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Flexibility to travel as needed
